Chicken Fried Rice

  • chicken
    2 cooked and diced
  • chicken broth
    2 c
  • ginger
    sprinkle
  • green onion (chopped, or regular onion)
    1/2 c
  • oil
    4 tbsp
  • peas
    1 c
  • rice
    1 c
  • soy sauce
    2 tbsp

    Combine chicken and soy sauce . Let stand ⏱️ 15 minutes .
    chicken: 1 cooked and diced, soy sauce: 1 tbsp

    Cook rice in wok with oil over medium heat until golden brown (may smoke).
    rice: 1 c, oil: 4 tbsp

    Reduce heat. Add chicken , soy sauce , green onion , ginger , and chicken broth to the rice.
    chicken: 1 cooked and diced, soy sauce: 1 tbsp, green onion: 1/2 c (chopped, or regular onion), ginger: sprinkle, chicken broth: 2 c

    Simmer covered ⏱️ 20-25 minutes or until rice is tender.

    Add peas .
    peas: 1 c

    Remove cover. Cook uncovered until liquid is absorbed.

    Can also cook in rice cooker after browning rice.
